Hi, I’m Kristine.

I'm a graduate from Occidental College with a B.A. in cognitive science and a minor computer science. My daily fuel is coffee which isn’t exactly ideal for someone who’s also a night owl, but somehow I’ve managed.

Growing up, I've always been curious about the way in which people perceive and interact with the world, others, and even themselves. As such, I very much enjoyed my experience studying cognitive science, especially with it being such an interdisciplinary field. However, as time went on, I knew I wanted to find a domain beyond academic research where I could utilize my technical and research background.

During a time of assessing the next steps in my career path, I began to delve into SQL through the recommendation of a family member. By rediscovering SQL, I found myself more and more interested in the process and work involved in data analysis. As a logical but creative thinker, I like asking questions and solving problems, finding satisfaction in figuring out the missing pieces of a puzzle.

Now with 2+ years of experience in SQL and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI, I am consistently looking for opportunities to grow and learn as a data analyst.
